Karen Moaney, Treasure Cove Thrift Store Manager
Karen is a lifelong resident of St. Michaels and first came to work at the SMCC to work with teens, after-school children and special events. In November 2012, Karen was appointed to her current position, and we are grateful for her energy, enthusiasm and laughter! You can reach Karen at [email protected].
Ange Oteri, Senior Programs and Office Aide
Ange joined our SMCC family in 2005 when we were in our old location. Ange coordinates our seniors and feeds them lunch every Wednesday. She also helps in our office when she is not taking care of the seniors.

Sean Raspberry, Executive Chef
Sean joined SMCC in 2022 and brings more than 20 years of experience working as a chef in numerous local restaurants and inns to his work at SMCC and our Community Café. Learn more about Sean here.

Trish Payne, Executive Director Emerita
Trish is a long-time resident of Talbot County and St. Michaels. She came to SMCC following a 28-year career in the financial industry and retired as Executive Director in 2020, when she was named Executive Director Emerita by the Advisory Board.
Trish has enjoyed a lifetime of experience in the performing arts as an actress, dancer, singer, director, singer and even a professional clown! She has always been involved and active in the community, and she continues to thrive on being of service in her hometown and the Bay Hundred area.
