This quaint, resale shop accepts donations from area residents and offers them to the public at discounted prices. Treasure Cove is staffed by community volunteers and managed by SMCC employee, Karen Moaney.
Treasure Cove also assists, in times of emergency, anyone in need of clothing, shoes, household items or furniture—entirely free of charge. We partner with many other local non-profit organizations and the Department of Social Services to provide victims of fire, flood, eviction, job loss or any other special circumstance that leaves people in need.
The Treasure Cove is always in need of clean, in-season clothing, gently used furniture and usable household goods. We also welcome volunteers!
Every dollar we earn from donations goes toward underwriting the programs and operating expenses of the St. Michaels Community Center. Excess donations are often shared with our partner organizations such as Goodwill, the Salvation Army and The Neighborhood Service Center.
