Photos from our 2023 Children's Christmas Party

We wish to especially thank Rob Lacaze and his team at TTR Sotheby's International Realty for providing ALL the presents for our 2023 Children's and Senior's Christmas Parties!

You helped bring much joy and hope to our neighbors in need over the holidays!

All together, we provided 87 children with gifts this Christmas, through the help of Rob Lacaze and others, including
  • Granite Lodge #177 - especially Billy Murphy and the Schmidt family
  • The Lumberyard Inc. - including Margie Patrick who also donated 6 bicycles
  • Perkins Family YMCA
  • Fairbank Tackle
  • Jackie and Ronnie Reiss
  • Penny and John Eugenio
  • Numerous individuals

We have the best community! Thank you!

Previous Youth Programs

S.M.Y.L.E. & Jr. Police Cadets

Returning soon, stay tuned.
As of March 2013, SMCC has teamed up with Chief Tony Smith of the St. Michaels Police Department and the St. Michaels Youth and Law Enforcement (S.M.Y.L.E.) program to provide community service and drug/alcohol abuse prevention programs to the youth in our community. Kids who participate in S.M.Y.L.E. can earn a chance to join us on one of our weekend camping trip to the Wilderness Presidential Resort. These weekends serve to strengthen family bonds and provide recreation and adventure to people with limited resources for vacations or getaways.

The Green Team & Jr. Gardeners

Thursdays after school at SMCC is all about farming and gardening! Any child who is interested in learning about starting a garden, planting seeds, tending to garden beds, harvesting the bounty and making meals with what we've grown is welcome to join us anytime for free. St. Michaels's Spirit Grower and Know Good farm are important partners of ours in this arena.
