Treasure Cove Thrift Shop

Picture
Help! Our Treasure Cove Thrift Shop has so much new inventory in donations that we need a few more volunteers to help make a difference in our community in meaningful ways.

We need help from 10-2 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, for as long as anyone can help. Volunteers will work safely distanced in the back of the store sorting, pricing, and placing newly donated items to the store, and in the front of the store at register.

To learn more, please email Karen Moaney at moaneyk@yahoo.com or call the store from 10-2 at 410-745-0669.

All proceeds benefit the children and adults served by the St Michaels Community Center.

Thank you.

The Treasure Cove Thrift Shop is located on the corner of Railroad Ave. and Fremont St., with ample parking and an outdoor area for shopping.

The shop offers in-season clothing, gently used furniture, and usable household goods from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with tax-deductible donations of gently used items accepted before 1:30 p.m.

Social distancing measures are required, with masks worn while inside.

Treasure Cove is run in part by volunteers and partners with other local non-profits and Talbot County’s Department of Social Services to provide emergency assistance to people in need, including those suffering from the effects of fire, flood, eviction, job loss, or other special circumstances.

Treasure Cove donations and purchases support the people served by the St. Michaels Community Center's programs and services.

Excess donations are shared with our partner organizations, such as
Goodwill, the Salvation Army, and The Neighborhood Service Center.
